Privacy policy

Last updated October 23, 2026

Level Up Allowance helps families track chores and allowance. We collect as little as we can, we never sell data, and we never show ads. Level Up Allowance keeps score only: it does not hold or move money.

Who uses Level Up Allowance

Accounts are created and managed by parents. Children use the app only inside a family their parent set up, with a family code and a 4-digit PIN. Children never give us an email address, phone number or password. By adding a child, the parent consents to us storing that child's information as described here.

What we collect

How we use it

We do not sell or rent personal information, use it for advertising, or build marketing profiles of children.

Who can see your family's information

Cookies

We use only cookies needed for the app to work: keeping a parent or child signed in and remembering your family code on a kid's device. No advertising or tracking cookies.

Keeping and deleting data

We keep your family's information while your account is active. A parent can ask us to delete a child's information, or the whole family account, at any time through Help in the app, and we will delete it within 30 days, except where we must keep records by law.

Children's privacy

Level Up Allowance is designed for families with children, including children under 13. We collect only what a child needs to use the app (a first name, avatar and PIN), we never ask children for contact information, and parents control their children's information. Parents can review, change or delete it at any time from the app or by contacting us.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit, each family's data is separated at the database level, and PINs and passwords are stored only as secure hashes. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong password and keep your family code within your family.

Changes and contact

If we change this policy, we will update the date above and tell parents in the app about important changes. Questions or requests? Use Help in the app.
