❓ How Level Up Allowance works

Level Up Allowance turns chores into a game. You decide the chores and what each one pays. Your kids check them off. You approve. The money piles up in each kid's piggy bank, and you pay out whenever you like.

1. 1You set up chores and dollar amounts.
2. 2Your kids sign in on their own device and tap Done.
3. 3You approve (or send back) what they did.
4. 4Approved money adds up in their piggy bank. You pay out and mark it paid.

1. 1On the home page tap “I’m a parent”, then “New here? Create an account”.
2. 2Enter your email and a password (8+ characters) and tap Sign up.
3. 3Name your family (for example “The Smiths”) and tap Let’s go!

1. 1Open the Kids tab.
2. 2Type their name, pick an avatar, and choose a 4-digit PIN.
3. 3Tap Add kid.

Later you can: tap ✏️ Edit name & avatar to change how they look, Reset to give them a new PIN, or Remove to stop them signing in (their history is kept).

1. 1Open the Chores tab and fill in “New chore”.
2. 2Pick an emoji, name the chore, and enter what it pays in dollars.
3. 3Choose how often: Every day, Once a week, or Certain days (then tick the days).
4. 4Tick which kids it’s assigned to and tap Add chore.

• Every day: shows on your kid's list each day and can be done once per day.
• Once a week: shows all week long and can be done once per week.
• Certain days: only shows on the days you tick, like Mon, Wed, Fri.
• ✏️ Edit chore: change anything, including who it's assigned to. A new price applies to chores done from then on. Chores already done keep their old price.
• Pause / Resume: hides a chore from your kids without deleting it.

1. 1In Settings, copy the Kid link and open it on your kid’s device. It remembers your family.
2. 2Your kid taps their avatar.
3. 3They type their 4-digit PIN. They’re in!

Each kid gets a bright screen with their piggy bank total at the top, today's chores with a dollar amount on each, a weekly bonus bar, an optional savings goal, streaks, and badges.

1. 1They tap Done! on a chore. Confetti pops and “+$1.00” floats up.
2. 2The chore shows “Waiting for a grown-up”. They can tap “Oops, undo” if they tapped by mistake.
3. 3You approve it. The checkmark appears and the money lands in their piggy bank.

Go ahead and try the practice chore on this page. It works just like the real thing.

1. 1Open the Today tab. Chores your kids finished appear under “Waiting for your approval”.
2. 2Tap ✓ to approve or ✗ to send it back.

Approved something by mistake, or changed your mind? You can undo any approved chore. It goes back to not done, and everything that depended on it is rolled back.

1. 1Open the History tab and pick the kid on the Chores view.
2. 2Find the chore marked ✅ Done and tap ↩️ Undo approval. Use the 30 days / 90 days / 1 year buttons to go further back.
3. 3Add a reason if you like (only you can see it) and tap “Yes, undo approval”.

A bonus makes kids want to finish everything. Set the amount in Settings (use $0.00 for no bonus).

1. 1Your kid sees a big orange bonus card showing the dollar amount and how many chores are left.
2. 2Once every chore for the week is approved, the bonus unlocks and turns green.
3. 3The bonus is added to their piggy bank automatically.

The YOU OWE number on each kid's card is everything they've earned (approved chores plus bonuses) minus everything you've already paid them. It carries over from week to week.

1. 1Pay your kid however you like (cash, Venmo, Zelle, and so on).
2. 2On the Today tab, check the amount and choose the method.
3. 3Tap Pay out. It’s recorded in History and their balance goes down.

Kids can set a goal on their own screen, like “Lego set, $40”. A bar fills as their piggy bank grows. When they have enough, their screen says “You have enough! Show a grown-up!”.

You can see each kid's goal and progress on the Today tab. Goals are just for motivation. Nothing is bought or locked automatically.

A 🔥 streak counts how many days in a row a kid finished at least one chore. Missing a day resets it, which kids hate, so they keep going.

Open the History tab. It has two views:

• 📋 Chores: pick a kid to see the last 30 days. Each chore is marked ✅ Done, ⏳ Waiting, ❌ Not approved, ↩️ Undone, or 😕 Missed, plus any weekly bonus. Approved chores have an Undo approval button.
• 💰 Payments: every payout for the whole family with date, method, and amount, plus a total paid per kid.

When a kid marks a chore done, every parent in the family gets an email with a one-tap button to review and approve. You'll get at most one email per kid every 10 minutes, so a kid finishing six chores in a row doesn't flood your inbox.

Turn alerts on or off in Settings. If emails don't arrive, check your spam folder and make sure the app owner has finished email setup.

• Family name: shown to you only.
• Allowance week starts on: pick the day your week begins. Weekly chores and the bonus reset on that day.
• Bonus for finishing every chore: the weekly bonus amount.
• Email parents when a kid finishes a chore: turns alerts on or off.
• Time zone: makes sure “today” and the week boundaries match your clock.
• Family code and Kid link: what your kids use to sign in.
• Add another parent: gives a second adult full access.

Remember to tap Save after changing settings.

1. 1Tap 💬 Help in the top menu, then choose Message us.
2. 2Write a short subject and your message, then send it.
3. 3When we reply, a pink badge appears on the Help tab and a banner shows on the Today tab. You’ll also get an email if email is set up.

You can reply back in the same thread as many times as you need.

Love it? Tell other parents. There's a 📣 Share link in the top-right of your menu bar, next to Sign out.

1. 1Tap 📣 Share.
2. 2On a phone, tap “Share…” to use your phone’s own share sheet. Or pick Facebook, X, WhatsApp, Email, or Text message. You can also copy the link.
3. 3Send it. Your friends see the public Level Up Allowance page with a preview picture.

Kids sign in with an avatar and PIN, with no email or personal details needed. Each family's data is walled off from every other family. Only you and other parents you add can see your family's information.
